Kelly Melang, President
Kelly Melang has been in the computer industry since the invention of the Internet, and no, she doesn’t know Al Gore. Working with Manpower, Inc. Kelly helped sell AS-400’s to customers based on their brand of training for employees. This helped Kelly move into the job as Help Desk Coordinator/ Trainer for Thompson Financial Services in Boston, MA. In this capacity, Kelly fixed computer networking, email, and internet problems. Kelly traveled through Asia installing email post offices and teaching clients how to use email, then as the World Wide Web was born, Kelly moved into the capacity of helping create Thompson Financial’s Internet presence as well as employees communicating with each other.
As a consultant, Kelly Melang teaches the basic through advanced computer classes ranging from How to Use Windows to Visual Basic Programming. Kelly Melang also co-wrote and taught several classes for clients such as Sara Lee, Hanes Brands and Computer Consulting and Training.
Kelly Melang uses this creativity to provide fresh content to the Facebook Fan Pages of SO-ME clients, she writes for local and internet publications and maintains her blog of life as a Mom to two young boys. Kelly has written 7 books including 2 children’s books. Kelly has published “Snot And Tears” a collection of essays about being an older Mom, an athlete and a woman. Her second book, “Life is Grey” is due out soon.
During her free time, Kelly Melang enjoys writing, running, biking, swimming all in that order!
